W artykule przedstawiono nową maszynę frezującą szyny w torze typu SFU 04. Opisano jej podstawowe parametry techniczne i sposób pracy. Ponadto scharakteryzowano szlifierkę taśmową SM 04, będącą absolutną nowością w dziedzinie szlifowania szyn.

The article presents the new milling machine type SFU 04. Basic technical parameters, as well as the ways of operating the devise have been described. The area of the application of SFU 04, innovations introduced in relation to existing machines of this type and achieved results have been emphasized. Moreover, the SM 04 band grinding machine, being the total novelty in rail grinding branch, has been described. The possibility of joining both of the above mentioned machines in a work team and advantages resulting from this have been indicated.
