Prowadzone badania wykazały jednak skuteczność stosowania zabiegów fizjoterapeutycznych w leczeniu podostrych i przewlekłych dolegliwości kręgosłupa. Zespół naukowców z Finlandii zaproponował metodę aktywnej terapii kręgosłupa DBC (Documentation Based Care), będącą połączeniem wiedzy medycznej, fizjoterapeutycznej oraz nowoczesnych rozwiązań technicznych.

Almost 50% of adults suffer from chronic low back pain. According to statistical data, about 80% of adults will have such accidents at least once in their life. Many patients will experience aggravations and remissions of the disease with probability of repeated pain occurrence. As so far, no uniform therapeutic procedures are recommended. Nevertheless, widely carried out examinations proved the efficacy of physiotherapeutic procedures in subacute and chronic backbone ailments. The group of scientists from Finland elaborated the method of an active spine therapy called DBC (Documentation Based Care). It constitutes the combination of medical and physiotherapeutic knowledge, as well as modem technical solutions.
