Prestack depth migration using converted waves

The paper presents theoretical essentials for extrapolation of a P-S wavefield before stack. The offered solution is based on Neumann series moreover, a solution has been formulated in the form of the exponential operator, analogous to that of "split-step Fourier" method for Pwaves. The algorithm have been tested on a synthetic synclinal-anticlinical model, featured by strong heterogeneities.
