Adjusting the rock mining to the rules of market economy poses a great chance for companies producing modern machines and appliances. The article presents concepts and practical remarks on the modernisation of existing processing plants and proposals of building new ones. Increasing requirements in the field of environment protection allow the implementation of modern systems reducing negative impact on the human race and environment. Price competition of the rock mining products forces the producers to constantly reduce variable and fixed costs. Automation and monitoring of the aggregate production effectively contributes to the increase in positive financial results.
