Celem prezentowanej pracy było zbadanie możliwości wykorzystania flotacji do oczyszczania osadów dennych z substancji ropopochodnych. Zbadano osady w potoku Cerny Prokop w Ostrawie. Główne zanieczyszczenia pochodziły z oczyszczalni ścieków oraz koksowni. Uzyskane w skali laboratoryjnej wyniki pozwalają na stwierdzenie, że flotacja z użyciem zbieracza Flotakol umożliwia zredukowanie zawartości PAH, PCB IKL o ok. 70%.

The paper deals with an evaluation of flotation application suitability in the sludge decontamination from the Cerny Prikop situated in the City of Ostrava. The water quality in the Cerny Prikop is predominantly determined by the quality of the discharged water from the Coking Plant and water from the Central Waste Water Treatment Plant for Otrava. The obtained results imply that the application of flotation is very effective and it is possible to apply it to reduce about 70% of harmful organic pollutants (PAH, PCB, NEL) ton the sediments.
