Loamy minerals are significant and still insufficiently used natural resources in Poland. Their full utilization should be of the main investigative, concerning especially: industrial catalysis, raw materials and products cleaning and protection of natural environment. One of less used is detritus basalt from Dunino. It shows high sorptive and catalytic activity already in raw state. In work there were marked sorptive properties of raw and activated bentonite soils and reference sorbents: siliceous gel, Al2O3, molecular sieves 5A, Attapulgite and Fuller's earth. As adsorbate one used toluene. In first stage the initial selection was made using twenty sorbents of statical sorption. In second stage on 6 sorbents absorbed toluen from air with dynamic method.
