In this paper results of investigation of the influence of electrochemical and chemical surface treatment of steel 00H17N14M2A suitable for implants used in osseous surgery and cardiology (coronary stents) on their resistance to pitting have been presented. Composition of baths in which good gloss and smoothness of surfaces and resistance to pitting have been achieved.
