The aim of this work is the studies of extraction equilibrium in systems containing arsenic(III) and (V) in sulphuric acid solution. Arsenic (III) and (V) extraction was carried out typically in dysperse system using equal volumes of the aqueous and organic phases at 50 degrees centigrade. Cyanex 923, Cyanex 925, Cyanex 301 and neodecanohydroxamic acids were used. These extractants were dissolved in toluene. The following effects were investigated: the initial sulphuric acid concentration, the valence state of arsenic on the arsenic extraction.
