W artykule omówiono zorientowaną na usługi architekturę systemów informatycznych. Najpierw wprowadzono pojęcie usługi informatycznej na poziomie organizacyjnym (biznesowym) i techniczno-operacyjnym (informatycznym). Zdefiniowano cele i zaprezentowano podstawowe właściwości architektury systemów zorientowanej na usługi. Następnie przedstawiono wykorzystywane tu rozwiązania technologiczne i zasady projektowania systemów informatycznych zgodnie z założeniami tej architektury. Wreszcie przybliżono korzyści płynące z tego typu rozwiązań.

The paper deals with a service-oriented architecture (SOA) when developing information systems in organization. Firstly, an idea of information technology service is introduced, on both organizational (business) and technical (operational) levels. Aims and basic properties of service-oriented architecture are defined. Then, technological solutions and rules of designing information systems accordingly to SOA are described. At last, benefits from implementing solutions of this type are brought nearer.
