Abstrakty

Badania wykazały, że systemy pomiaru efektywności mogą odgrywać ważną rolę w wspieraniu rozwoju zarządzania w małych i średnich przedsiębiorstwach. Artykuł ten zawiera przegląd literatury, dotyczącej pomiaru efektywności w małych i średnich przedsiębiorstwach przemysłowych, a także analizę rozpowszechnienia, cech charaktery-stycznych i determinant pomiaru efektywności w tych przedsiębiorstwach. Zwrócono uwagę zarówno na mankamenty systemów pomiaru, jak również zostało zdefiniowanych kilka czynników, które wydają się ograniczać te systemy. Ponadto, dwa systemy pomiaru efektywności, wykorzystywane ściśle dla małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw, są porównane z ogólnymi modelami pomiaru efektywności. Według mojej wiedzy przedstawiona w artykule analiza porównawcza systemów pomiaru efektywności nie ma odpowiednika w literaturze polskojęzycznej.

Research has shown that performance measurement systems could play an Portant role in supporting managerial development in small and medium enterprises. In this paper, the literature on performance measurement in manufacturing small and medium enterprises is reviewed and diffusion, characteristics and determinants of performance asurernent in these companies are analysed. Shortcomings in the performance measurement ems are highlighted and several factors that seem to constrain performance measurement ems are defined. Moreover, two performance measurement systems models specifically developed for small and medium enterprises are compared with generic performance asurernent systems. According to my knowledge, comparative analysis of performance asurement systems, presented in the article, does not have its equivalent in Polish literature.
