W pracy przedstawiono sformułowanie i rozwiązanie zagadnienia drgań swobodnych układu złożonego z trzech belek w połączeniu z masowym elementem dyskretnym. Układ modeluje kolumnę wspornikową poddaną obciążeniu siłą śledzącą skierowaną do stałego punktu. Model układu uwzględnia obok belek tworzących kolumnę także belkę pośredniczącą w przyłożeniu obciążenia oraz element masowy, który reprezentuje ciało zapewniające sztywne połączenie belek w swobodnym końcu kolumny. Zagadnienie sformułowano i rozwiązano z wykorzystaniem formalizmu mnożników Lagrange'a.

The free vibration problem of the cantilever column connected with the additional elements: beam and concentrated mass is presented. The column is subjected to the follower force passing through a fixed point. In the model of the system beside the composing cantilever column beams there are taken into account the other elements of the real system: the beam used to applied the load to the column and the concentrated mass representing the element connecting rigidly the composing system beams at the free end of the column. The problem has been formulated and solved by the use of the Lagrange multiplier formalism.
