Abstrakty
The structural intensity (IS) is the complex quantity. The real component, which is called active structural intensity, shows the flow of energy in elastic bodies. The purpose of the work was to verify if it possible to calculate structural intensity from measured values and to verify if the simplification is possible. The use of SI is in the sphere of machinę diagnostics. It has been derived from acoustic intensity. It would be possible to identify the sources of energy if you knew the structural intensity value in the structure.
