Abstrakty
The paper presents selected problems concerning attempts at designing mechatronic control systems for engineering machines such as roadheaders. The paper focuses on parameters that are crucial for the process of tunneling; it also suggests a structure of an adaptive control system that takes both rock mass parameters and tool condition into account.
