Abstrakty
In the paper the influence of Minimal Quantity Cooling Lubricant (MQCL) method on cutting forces and heat sink are described when turning steel C45. Computer modeling was used to calculated tool face perpendicular force and the tool face tangential force also as heat flow powers transient to the chip, workpiece and cutter. The using of compressed air decreases tool face tangential force values 15-45%, and MQCL decreases this force values 1.25-2.5 times in comparison with dry cutting. Tool face perpendicular force changes are less and equal agreeably 5-10% or 10-25% in comparison with dry cutting. Changes of heat flow powers transient to the chip, workpiece and cutter are shown. The using of MQCL method decreases heat flow to the chip 15-40% in comparison with dry turning and max 20% in comparison with compressed air turning. Changes of heat flows to workpiece and cutter are less significantly.
