EN

The deliberations on the process of risk management in agriculture were presented in the article. The attention was paid to the types of risk and their meaning for agriculture. The chosen problems connected with the implementation of the mechanism of risk management in arable farms were also presented. In many countries the activities associated with the implementation of insurance in this area were undertaken. The undertaken initiatives did not bring expected results and show the necessity of further searching for solutions in this area.

W artykule przedstawiono rozważania nad procesem zarządzania ryzykiem w rolnictwie. Zwrócono uwagę na rodzaje ryzyka i ich znaczenie dla rolnictwa. Przedstawiono wybrane problemy związane z implementacją mechanizmu zarządzania ryzykiem w gospodarstwach rolnych. W wielu państwach podjęto działania związane z implementacją ubezpieczeń w tym obszarze. Podjęte inicjatywy nie przyniosły oczekiwanych rezultatów i wskazują na konieczność dalszego poszukiwania rozwiązań w tym obszarze.
