EN

The emerging paradigm of "ubiquitous intelligence" reflects in the context of "intelligent transportation systems", using advanced teIematics and ICT technoIogies to support organisation and control of transportation processes. A definition of intelligent transportation system, introduced in the paper, Ieads to formuIate principIes for structuring DES modeIs of such systems. The modelling approach is illustrated by a smalI exampIe. Creating DES application follows a particuIar component-oriented and data-driven methodoIogy, basing on descriptive semantic schemas to define modeIs. Web oriented impIementation, using XML based technoIogies with Java APIs, allows to embed the virtuaI DES application in the Internet where it can serve as a ubiquitous decision making and control support for intelligent transportation processes.

Rozwijający się paradygmat "wszechobecnej inteligencji" systemów informatycznych znajduje swoje odzwierciedlenie w "inteligentnych systemach transportowania", w których wykorzystuje się zaawansowane technologie telematyki oraz ICT dla wspomagania organizacji i sterowania procesami transportowymi. Wprowadzona w artykule definicja inteligentnego systemu transportowania prowadzi do sformułowania zasad strukturalizacji dyskretnych modeli symulacyjnych, które odwzorowują takie systemy. Przedstawione podejście jest zilustrowane za pomocą przykładu. Komputerowe aplikacje symulacyjne powstają według specyficznej metodologii definiowania modeli na podstawie schematów opisujących ich właściwości strukturalne i semantyczne. Implementacja z wykorzystaniem technologii WWW pozwala osadzić wirtualne aplikacje symulacyjne w Internecie, gdzie mogą służyć jako wszechobecne wsparcie dla decyzji sterujących działaniem inteligentnych systemów transportowania.
