In the paper, different integration problems met in transportation systems are presented and illustrated by practical examples of integrating tools and by the developed environmental integrated approach. A special emphasis is placed on the new beneficial directions of integration impacts on the main determinants, such as intelligence, adaptability, area wide synchronised real-time operation, of the transportation systems efficiency.

W artykule przedstawiono różne problemy integracji w systemach transportowych, ilustrowane praktycznymi przykładami integracyjnych narzędzi i zintegrowanego podejścia rozwoju środowiskowego. Szczególny nacisk został położony na korzystne kierunki wpływu integracji na główne wyznaczniki efektywności systemów transportowych takie jak inteligencja, zdolność przystosowania, szeroki obszar synchronizowanych operacji w czasie rzeczywistym.
