Introduction of the Japanese Government projects for medical and welfare apparatus

Abstrakty

EN

Ageing of society brings with it many issues that require policy measures. The Japanese Government has put forth a massive effort into medical and welfare measures. In this paper, the recent activities of "Technology Research Association of Medical and Welfare Apparatus", Japan (TRAMWA), which has been established towards a "Health and Welfare Anchored Society" are introduced. In addition, a new concept, called "alternative medicine", which will be implemented complimentarily to western modern medicine, has been briefly introduced.
