The project design for reclamation of the oily diatomaceous earth storage site at the EWICO Co.Ltd. Plant at Brzeg was agreed by the Decision No OS - 7643-3/05 issued by the Head of the Brzeg County (Powiat).The whole body of results of study made within the area adjacent to the oily diatomaceous earth waste storage site, it can be assumed that the impact of the site upon the groundwater quality in the Odra river valley is relatively small and, at the upland, it is non existent. The entire surface will be covered with vegetation.

Projekt rekultywacji składowania zaolejonej ziemi okrzemkowej w Zakładzie EWICO Sp. z 0.0. w Brzegu opracowano w oparciu o wszechstronne rozpoznanie obiektu ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem hydrogeologicznych, budowlanych, technologicznych, biologicznych, krajobrazowych uwarunkowań, z uwzględnieniem wyników badań i rekultywacji analogicznych obiektów: W oparciu o wyniki badań na terenie przyległym do składowiska odpadów zaolejonej ziemi okrzemkowej stwierdza się stosunkowo mały wpływ tego składowiska na jakość wód gruntowych w dolinie rzeki Odry oraz żaden wpływ na terenie wysoczyzny. Cała ta powierzchnia będzie pokryta szatą roślinną.
