The paper presents results of the research on power of corona discharges generated in the model of corona reactor with dielectric barrier. The model was constructed as a set of corona nets and rods covered with dielectric barrier. Two types of corona nets have been used: one with rectangle mesh, the other with hexagonal mesh. Influence of value and polarity of voltage on power of corona discharges was measured. It was found, that power generated by negative voltage half-period was higher than generated by positive one. Differences coming from type of corona mesh were also observed. Characteristics of momentary value of power and discharge current were recorded. The influence of airflow on discharges power was estimated. Depending on the shape of corona mesh, for airflow up to 4 m/s, power of corona discharges can vary about 20 prec. The research showed, that for 10-12 kV of AC voltage on corona net, it is possible to gain in the reactor discharges power density approx. 30-40 kW/m3.
