EN

The assumption of this paper is the basic thesis that sustainable development has many spatial aspects. This point of view is represented by authors, who broadly treat sustainable development as combining the nature with every civilization activity. According to this point of view sustainable development should, among others, ensure appropriate access to natural and civilization goods. There are here two spatial relations to consider: the relation of access and the relation of balanced, optimal distribution in space, in a global analysis. Two methods are proposed in this paper for the assessment of spatial distribution: the method based on hierarchical space division and the method of increasing buffer.
