EN

Ever easier access to satellite images, growth of computer power and development of specialist software in last years stimulated demand for generating 3D models. Especially, models of cities are used in many walks of life like tourism, landscape architecture and planning of cellular telephone networks. On the market, there are many programmes which create and present three-dimensional models. There are already Internet portals which provide spatial data like 2D-vector data, Digital Terrain Models, high resolution imagery and 3D city models.
