Abstrakty
Humodetrinitic brown coal, initial and demineralized, and brown-coal-derived humic acids were carbonized to the final heat treatment temperature (HTT) of 900°C, then subjected to isothermal steam gasification (activation) to achieve the burn-off of 50%. For the non-activated and activated chars adsorption measurements of carbon dioxide and benzene at 25°C were performed. On the basis of the obtained adsorption isotherms, the values of chosen porosity parameters were calculated. The influence of the kind of precursor on the structure of porosity developed in the carbonized and steam activated materials was discussed.
