W praktyce budowlanej często zachodzi potrzeba oznaczenia składu stwardniałego betonu, które obejmuje oznaczenie zawartości kruszywa i cementu użytego do wykonania betonu. W referacie skoncentrowano się na metodach oznaczenia zawartości kruszywa w stwardniałym betonie.

The paper is concentrated on determining of content of aggregates in concrete by two methods. These methods elaborated at the Building Research Institute. The first method, named appraising method is based on stating the bulk density of concrete, the content of its components insoluble in HCl. The method is useful in testing uncorroded concrete and are composed of gravel aggregate or limestone and sand. The second method - quantitative microscopic analysis of concrete, generally has no limits as far as its application is concerned. It is useful for testing corroded concretes as well. In this method volume of aggregate is determined due to the microscopic analysis of smoothed concrete specimens, Mass of aggregate in m3 of concrete is evaluated using the values of bulk density of aggregates and volume of aggregate in concrete.
