Abstrakty

EN

Due to favourable physico-mechanical properties, dolomites and limestones from a part of the Góry Świętokrzyskie Mountains are utilized as breakstone for building and road construction. The areas particularly interesting considering reserves as well as geological and mining conditions include eastern parts of the Kielce-Lago´w synclinorium and the klimonto´w antyclinorium. altogether, 14 deposits with reserves reaching 109 mg have been recorded and out of them six are currently quarried. Effective development of this area requires some improvements as far as exploration method and reporting of exploration are concerned. Selected unconventional methods of exploration have been implemented, particularly geophysical surveys, supplemented by surface mapping, routine geological observations in active mines and permanent quality control of the raw material.
