EN

An idea of a system for designing intelligent machining centres and cells is presented. This is a universally accessible, distributed global system comprising unformalized knowledge, programming tools, methods and procedures applicable to the design of machines, on the basis of which an intelligent machining system, particularly its intelligent functions, can be created, The structure of knowledge bases for the design system which includes subject blocks containing specified and recorded knowledge related to the design of machining centres and cells has been defined.
