Abstrakty

In this paper a brief description of intelligent systems was given. A concept of sensor-based intelligent decision-making system is presented. Such a system interprets the signals from the sensors, extracts the relevant information and decides on the appropriate control action. The solution of diagnostic problems by means of an intelligent tool was proposed. The main aspects of the tool intelligence were discussed. In the paper the practical use of neural networks techniques is aimed. For an implementation of intelligent tool and neural network techniques the turning process of slender object was chosen as an example.
