Most of managers which concentrate their activity upon functions, tasks, staff and personnel, posts and upon organization structures, have difficulty in understanding the essence of processes. The change of perspective, from functional problem oriented thinking (production, marketing, logistic, etc...) to perceiving the organization in categories of information flow processes, is the fundamental novelty and innovation being now introduced in the management practice. An extremely important factor for the success in realizing these ideas is the crucial use of solutions in the area of information and computer technologies, as well as radical actions in the scale of the whole organization. The restructurization of organization should take place together with the creation of a new management information system being progressively supported by information and knowledge based technologies. Thus, modern information technologies and suitable functions of their use become a critical decisive factor for a succesful introduction of reorganization changes. The future will not be a simple prolongation of the past; the structure of each enterprise as well as principles of its activity will change. The desire of managers who want to change the beaten tracks as well as to change themselves is becoming now the most valuable factor. It is knowledge and not material resources that are taken into account in the greatest today. In the enterprises that are managed in a modern way, information is considered to be the fourth production factor --beside ground, work and capital.
