The work concerns new developed in Electrotechnical Institute polymer, superionic membranes and measurements, in the single cell configuration, the influence of working condition on the fuel cell performance. This is the subject of the Ph.D. thesis realized under the same topic as current paper. PVDV based polymer membranes are used as an electrolyte in PEM fuel cells which are next a very promising solution for portable or resident power sources as well as for electric drive for cars, buses etc. In spite of very fast development of this subject-t in the world there are still problems with membrane production process and fuel cell operation. Up to now polymer membranes based on the PVDF matrixes were synthesized, test stand for investigation of the fuel cell was built and preliminary tests of the single fuel cell were made. Results of the performed investigations, voltage-current characteristics in dependence on the main factors which influence on the fuel cell parameters are presented.
