EN

A modification of the macromodel for integrated circuit (IC) audio power amplifiers, published in [3], intended for PSpice computer program, is presented. The new model is more accurate and its area of operating conditions (supply and input voltages, load resistance), in which the macromodel preserves its full accuracy, is wider. This results from incorporation to the macromodel the dependency of the IC saturation voltage on the output current. The macromodel parameters are found directly from typical IC data sheets. The example of the LM3886 audio power amplifier modelling is given.
