Natural evolution concerns biological (living) systems. Technical evolution consequently concerns technical systems. Some characteristics of both types of evolution are pointed out. Additionally, an attempt is made at answering the questions of how management innovation will influence the long-term technical process measured through product quality and output: active trend investigations.
