Sociological research as the examination of social systems (On methodological conceptions of Florian Zaniecki)

In this paper, I reconstruct the outline of methodological conceptions of Florian Zaniecki, concentrating on three problems : 1. Methodological image of natural science as the sciences, which use the self-contained systems -ideal types - as the tools for descriptions, and explanation of the real world; 2. Conceptions of social systems as the transmission of the methodological model of natural sciences to the social sciences; 3. Conception of research of the changes of social systems as the model of humanistic systematic causality. This article shows that the conception of systematic explanation with humanistic coefficient can overcome the limitations of naturalism and anti-naturalism in sociology.
