Zasadę odwzorowania dwuobrazowego krótko opisał Walkow[4]. Punkt A jest rzutowany z dwóch środków S1 i S2 na rzutnię, gdzie przyjmuje się pęk P prostych oraz szereg p punktów, przy czym P ^ p. Każdy rzut A1 punktu A ze środka S1 określa prostą pęku P, której z kolei odpowiada punkt A11 szeregu (p). Punkt A1 oraz prosta a1 (A2A11) uważane są za obrazy punktu A. Zgodnie z teoretyczną podstawą tej metody autorzy artykułu przedstawili praktyczny aparat projekcyjny odwzorowania dwuśrodkowego z transformacją rzutowa (ODR), w którym jest możliwa restytucja odwzorowanych elementów. Przedyskutowano obrazy punktu i prostej oraz ich szczególnych położeń względem przyjętego aparatu ODR. Ponadto omówiono krótko obrazy prostych przecinających się i skośnych.

K.J. Walkow has shorty described[4] the principe of the following method of projection the point A is projected from two centres S1 or S2 on the projection plane ^in which a pencil of lines P and a range of points p where P ^ p, are established. Each point A1 being the projection of A from S1 determines a line belonging to the pencil P which, in turn, has its corresponding point A11 in the range p. The point A1 and the line a1 (A2A11) are regarded as projections of point the A. On the grounds of the above-described assumptions the authors of the paper have presented a practical apparatus of double central projection with projective transformation (DCPR), in which restitution of projected objects is possible. Then, projections of point and straight line as well their particular positions with respect to the projecting apparatus of DCPR have been discussed. In addition, projections of intersecting and skew lines have also been briefly considered.
