Abstrakty

EN

The article presents exemplary applications and versions of separators intended for operation in the explosion hazard compartments. Construction of exemplary electromagnetic separators applicable in zones 22 and 21 of dust explosion hazard are described. The article presents development of the explosion-proof version of separator for mining applications, designed with assistance of Akademia Gorniczo-Hutnicza [AGH University of Science and Technology] within the framework of a targeted project. The electro-magnetic circuit and the cooling system of the separator have been designed with the Ansys system, using the performed model tests and simulation analyses. The achieved parameters, confirmed by tests in the Electric Machines Laboratory, are presented.
