Abstrakty
Methyl dodecanoate was oxyethylated in the presence of calcium-based catalyst. The composition of the products for low average degree of oxyethylation was determined and used to estimate the rate constants, and then the drop of pressure during the process. It was found that such estimation was possible, but the pressure drop was very sensitive upon any change of the rate constants. The average rate constants must be taken for such estimation.
