Abstrakty
The paper deals with investigations on the influence of the chemical composition of alloyed compound coatings modified with metal oxides. The effect of different additives on the physico-chemical properties of nickel electrodes covered with a coating of the alloy nickel-cobalt-phosphorus subjected to a test analysis in an alkaline solution with an addition of iron(III) salt as a substance poisoning the surface of the electrodes has been determined. As additives the following binary oxides were applied: RuO2-TiO2, TiO2-CeO2, Co3O4-CeO2, Co3O4-MnO2, Co3O4-Pt, Co3O4-RuO2. The highest electrochemical activity was achieved in the case of Co3O4-MnO2 coating.
