Numerical method of analysis of written pole motor
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
In the paper an electric motor with written poles has been presented. The mathematical model of coupled electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical motion phenomena in the motor with written poles has been proposed. The nonlinearity of the magnetic soft material, induced eddy currents and influence of temperature on magnetic and electric properties of materials have been taken into account. For the mapping of magnetic hysteresis, Jiles-Atherton model has been applied. The numerical implementation of the mathematical model is based on the finite element method and a step-by-step algorithm. In order to solve the equations of the discrete model of coupled phenomena, the iterative Newton-Raphson combined with the block over relaxation method have been applied. Elaborated special software has been successfully applied to the simulation of the start-up of the written pole motor.
