The unique properties of bamboo and ways of bamboo fibers application were set out. Besides its exquisite tenacity, health effects, antimicrobial properties, bamboo fibers have also excelent smoothness, softness, springback, soft feel, very good thermal insulation and eminent hygroscopy. Those and other advantages of bamboo fibers allowed them an expansion on many areas of human life, also in fibers industry. Not only bamboo, but its as elemental part as a fiber, gained multitude proponents, proving once more the worth of this remarkable plant.
