Parameters measurements of switched reluctance motor with reduced torque pulsations

Abstrakty
In the paper the experimental validation of the optimized version of the switched reluctance motor with reduced torque pulsations is presented. For realization of global optimization task, the two-dimensional finite element motor model was coupled with the evolutionary algorithm. Based on the computations an optimal shape of the magnetic circuit was determined for which the physical model was developed and tested on the laboratory test-rig. The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental data from the motor prototype, which confirms the usefulness of the computational approach.
