Number of turns influence on proprieties of the asymmetrical switched reluctance motor

Abstrakty
This paper concerns research of SRM motor with non-symmetrical stator construction. Number of turns influence on the discussed motor operational parameters is analyzed in this article. Basing on field calculations for different number of turns, torque-current-angle characteristics and self inductance coefficients are determined. Phase current waveforms for different number of turns are calculated. Results have also been verified by measurement in laboratory. Conclusions are presented.
