EN

This article describes test of turn to turn insulation. Shows new diagnostic method to determinate condition of this insulation. Suggested method can be used in any kind of induction machine and it is easy to use. This method is based on breaking passage of current in the circuit with tested coil or winding. Break 10% of nominal current generate voltage on the terminals of the winding. This voltage is registered by digital scope. The frequency of this voltage determinate condition of turn to turn insulation.
