Chemical oxidation as a stage of high effective textile wastewater treatment technology for water recycling
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
The aim of this study was to evaluate the chemical oxidation process as a stage of high effective textile wastewater treatment technology for water recycling. One of the best methods to decrease the concentration of pollutants in the treated wastewater is Fenton's reaction which consists in a non-selective and highly efficient oxidation of organic compounds by means of hydroxyl radicals. Over 90% COD reduction and complete decomposition of detergents can be obtained quickly in a simple way.
