EN

Assurance of the thermal stability of the human being is one of the most important functions of clothing. There are a lot of fabrics' properties which influence the thermal comfort. The most important are: the thermal insulation, the water vapor resistance and the air permeability. An intensive development of new and improved polymers, fibers, yarns and textile material creates the new possibilities in the area of the thermo-physiological comfort. In the paper there are presented the chosen technical innovations in the range of the thermo-insulating fibers, yarns and fabrics as well as the textile materials with the function of so called "moisture management".
