Abstrakty
The paper presents theoretical analyze and simulation calculations results of chosen models of the small power reluctance motors, in which traditional rotor was replaced by a rotor made by compacting of magnetic powder composite (MPC). Determination of realization possibility and usability of such solution, in particular designs of this type of rotors, including reluctance motors manufactured individually, was a target of the presented research. Important advantage of MPC technology is simply way of various materials joining in one element. This enables creation of magnetic core design consisting of integrating structures with various physical properties. Disadvantage of MPC is lower permeability and greater energy loss if compare with electrical sheet. However, this disadvantage is of less importance in some applications, particularly in atypical solutions of motors designed for specific applications.
