Abstrakty
This paper presents the results obtained experimentally during the production of high concentrated maltodextrin concentrates in the mixer. The classical Ruston disc turbine (RDT) and the pitched blade turbine (PBT) pumping-up are experimentally tested. The comparison of energy consumption for both impellers has been presented. The PBT impeller requires a higher rotational impeller speed than calculated for the RDT stirrer but energy consumption in this case is lower.
