New catalysts based on polyphosphazenes for oxidation reactions

In the current work we describe a synthesis of novel polymer-based catalysts for oxidation reactions. As a support polyphosphazenes were used. The structures of these compounds were investigated by means of FTIR, 31P NMR and AAS. Oxidation reactions of some alkenes were carried out on the synthesized heterogeneous catalysts at atmospheric pressure in the presence of molecular oxygen. Epoxides and ketone were obtained as the main product with a very high selectivity and high yields.
