In the following publication the research results on composition-dependent fluid fertilizer crystallization temperature are presented. The fertilizers contained: ammonium polyphosphate water solution, carbamide, ammonium nitrate, potassium chloride were studied. Crystallization temperature was determined on the basis of solution pre-cooling at 1°C/10min and determination of opacity appearance moment. The research method used is consistent with IFS recommendations (International Fertilizer Society). The subject matter of the study was the influence of individual components of compound fluid fertilizers on the crystallization temperature. The liquid fertilizers in the form of solutions were analyzed for the following interdependence of N:P2O5:K2O nutrients-1:1:1. The formulas based on ammonium polyphosphate, mercantile UAN solution (urea -ammonium nitrate solution) and potassium chloride crystallize in positive temperatures. A decrease in the crystallization temperature of fluid fertilizers with the above nutritional composition can be obtained by complementing nitrogen content with pure urea or with urea -ammonium nitrate solution (UAN) and urea. As a result, nitrate share in the solution decreases in favour of amido-nitrogen. The influence of phosphate content increase on the crystallization temperature was analyzed, as well. The analysis was based on an increasing ammonium polyphosphate content in the system of solutions. The analyzed solutions were in nutrient relation range from 1:1:1 to 1:3:1.
