Studies of NO decomposition on Pt/AI2O3 catalysts were made. All the catalysts were prepared by means of a double impregnation method. The reaction was investigated within the temperature range of 473 to 773 K, using a reactant mixture of 1500 ppm NO in He. The catalytic tests revealed that several samples of the catalyst presented a different behavior towards NO decomposition. NO conversion increased along with the growth of the reaction temperature in the whole temperature range. The highest activity and selectivity of nitrogen was observed at 773 K.
