Abstrakty
The effect of zinc sorbent grain porosity on hydrogen sulfide sorption kinetics under industrial reactor operating conditions was studied. The measurements were taken in a Temkin type rector at the temperature of 400°C and the pressure 2.5 MPa. Hydrogen, containing 150 ppmv H2S, was fed to the reactor. Four samples of a sorbent in the form of tablets 6*6 mm having different apparent grain density from 2.00 to 2.85 g/cm3 (porosity: 64 - 50%), which were prepared by compaction of the same precursor at various pressure, were studied.
