Abstrakty

Artykuł omawia zastosowanie substancji pomocniczych ułatwiających sporządzanie i przetwarzanie mieszanek kauczukowych (ang. processing aids, processing additives). Substancje te umożliwiają poprawę jakości i powtarzalność właściwości mieszanek kauczukowych oraz zmniejszenie zużycia energii potrzebnej do ich wykonania i przetworzenia. Sposób działania dodatków poprawiających właściwości przerobowe zależy od ich zdolności do jednorodnego mieszania się z kauczukiem. Istnieją tu trzy możliwości: - produkt ma bardzo ograniczoną mieszalność z kauczukiem, - produkt ma słabą do średniej mieszalność z kauczukiem, - produkt bardzo dobrze miesza się z kauczukiem.

The paper refers to rubber processing agents facilitating mixing and processing of rubber compounds. These additives enable to improve quality of rubber compounds and repeatability of their properties and also reduce energy consumed during mixing and processing. The mode of action of rubber processing aids depends on their ability to homogeneous mixing with rubbers. There are three possibilities: - the substance has very limited compatibility with rubber, - the substance has low to medium compatibility with rubber, - the substance has high compatibility with rubber.
